Services
My focus is individual sessions for adults. Couple work is also sometimes available.
Groups are available periodically, most notably Mindfulness for Psychotherapy and Group Process for Psychotherapy. There is an online version of The Sacred No: Meeting Anger that is coming soon, and a Survivors of Sexual Abuse group is forming now. Please email to be notified of start dates. Group fees are $50 per session.
I offer in-services and presentations on trauma and mindfulness as a resource for professionals and those they serve. These are typically offered free of charge to serve the community.
I am licensed in Virginia, Michigan, and New Hampshire, but only physically based in Virginia. Work with clients in New Hampshire and Michigan is telehealth only.
Fees
One sixty-minute session is $175. I have some discounted spots available for self-pay individuals.
I am in-network with Anthem/BlueCross BlueShield.
If you have other insurance, I will file on your behalf as an out-of-network provider, so that you can be partially reimbursed for your session fee. Check your policy to find out your reimbursement level for out-of-network services.
Payment is due at the time services are provided; cash, personal checks, and credit cards are accepted.
Clinical Supervision for LPC residents
I accept LPC residents in my counseling practice. I provide clinical supervision, office space, advertising, and caseload referrals in exchange for a fee percentage.
I also offer clinical supervision for an hourly fee of $135 for those who are completing their residency elsewhere.
I am a board-certified, approved supervisor through the Virginia Board of Counseling, and am also licensed in Michigan and New Hampshire.
